The fourth-generation Nissan X-Trail makes its decades return to India; it will only be offered with a 1.5-liter, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine.

Expected On August  2024, Nissan plans to release the fourth-generation X-Trail SUV in India. Since the X-Trail will be imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), establishing it as a premium option in Nissan’s lineup, this introduction is much awaited. Nissan X-Trail Exterior:

The Nissan X-Trail features a split headlight design, a large V-motion grille up front, size-appropriate 20-inch alloy wheels, and LED tail lights at the back. With a wheelbase of 2705 mm, the X-Trail has dimensions of 4680 mm in length, 1840 mm in width, and 1725 mm in height. The rating for ground clearance is 210 mm.

Nissan X-Trail Interior:

The 2024 X-Trail will boast a range of modern features aimed at enhancing comfort and convenience. Key features include:

  • Dual-pane panoramic sunroof
  • Wireless smartphone charging
  • Keyless entry and start
  • Electronic parking brake with auto-hold
  • Multiple drive modes
  • 360-degree camera system​

Advanced safety features on the SUV will also include traction control, hill start assistance, front and rear parking sensors, and seven airbags.

Seating and Comfort:

Designed as a three-row, 7-seater SUV, the X-Trail offers flexible seating arrangements. The third row has a 50/50 split-folding and reclining arrangement, while the second row has a 40/20/40 split-folding, sliding, and reclining functionality. This arrangement guarantees each passenger enough room and comfort.​

Nissan X-Trail expected price:

The X-Trail will undoubtedly be expensive because it is a CBU. The X-Trail will undoubtedly be expensive because it is a CBU. Ex-showroom, we estimate it to be in the range of Rs 40 lakh to Rs 45 lakh. For comparison, the pricing range for the Jeep Meridian is Rs 29.49 lakh to Rs 39.83 lakh, while the Skoda Kodiaq is priced at Rs 39.99 lakh. The Jeep is manufactured locally in India, but the Skoda is a Certified Used car.
