Here are the new vehicles that will be available for purchase next month.

Nissan X-Trail

Nissan India is set to expand its lineup on August 1 by adding the flagship X-Trail SUV, effectively doubling its portfolio. It will arrive as a completely built unit and compete with the Jeep Meridian, MG Gloster, Skoda Kodiaq, and Toyota Fortuner. The seven-seater SUV is equipped with a 1.5-liter three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that has variable compression, producing 163hp and 300Nm. Power is transmitted solely to the front wheels via a continuously variable transmission automatic gearbox. Starting prices may range from approximately Rs 40 lakh to Rs 45 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Curvv & Tata Curvv EV

Tata Motors is prepared to introduce the Curvv in India on August 7. It will be among the initial mass-market coupe-SUVs available here, offering a different option to midsize SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, among others. Three engine choices will be offered: a 120hp, 1.2-liter turbo-petrol, a 115hp, 1.5-liter diesel, and a brand-new 125hp, 225Nm 1.2-liter three-cylinder direct-injection turbo-petrol. All three engines will come with the option of a dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The Curvv will come with a fully electric option that includes two battery choices: a brand-new 55kWh unit and the 40.5kWh unit found in the Nexon LR. The Curvv EV may have a maximum range of 550km and will be equipped with the same features as the Curvv, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a fully digital driver’s display, a powered tailgate with gesture function, a panoramic sunroof, reclining rear seat, ventilated front seats, and ADAS Level 2.

Mahindra Thar Roxx

The Mahindra Thar 5-door will be known as the Mahindra Thar Roxx upon its release on August 15. In addition to various design updates, a lengthier wheelbase and an additional pair of doors, the Thar Roxx is set to receive numerous additional features compared to the Thar 3-door model, such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a fully digital instrument panel, LED projector headlights, a 360-degree camera, and ADAS technology. It will retain all current engine choices from the Thar 3-door model, but they may be upgraded for better performance.

Citroen Basalt

The Citroen Basalt is set to compete with the Tata Curvv in the coupe-SUV market. The world premiere of the finalized model will happen on August 2, with a release shortly thereafter. The dashboard will be the same as the C3 Aircross, but will include new features like auto climate control with toggle switches, contoured rear headrests, and a bigger front armrest with storage. The Basalt will be equipped with a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine that generates 110hp and 205Nm of torque, available in both manual and automatic transmission choices.

Mercedes GLC 43 4Matic Coupe

It receives the identical 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology found in the AMG C 43. The powertrain on the GLC generates 421hp and 500Nm, allowing it to accelerate from 0-100kph in 4.7 seconds. In addition to the coupe-like rear design, the GLC 43 showcases familiar AMG styling elements both inside and outside. The price of the GLC 43 4Matic Coupe may exceed Rs 1 crore.

Mercedes CLE Cabriolet

The CLE Cabriolet is set to debut on the same day as the GLC 43 4Matic Coupe, August 8. It will be delivered as a complete import with standard 2+2 seating. Although Mercedes-Benz has not announced the powertrain for the CLE in India, globally, it offers a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine in two different power outputs. It is anticipated that prices will exceed Rs 1 crore.

The release of the Lamborghini Urus SE is scheduled for August 9 in India. In addition to external style modifications from the standard Urus, the SE model also receives a new 12.3-inch central touchscreen, along with updated dashboard panels and redesigned AC vents.
